Do you absolutely LOVE dogs? Being around them? Caring for them? Protecting them, and making sure they are safe and secure? Then we might have the perfect job for YOU! We have an immediate need to fill a position for a Camp Counselor for our Dogs.
We are a small family run organization that loves our dogs and needs a person who loves working with them and will treat them as if they are your own.
This position requires an individual to be physically fit, energetic, dedicated, dependable, very prompt and be comfortable working outside a good part of each day.
This is a HARD jobIt is not just playing with dogs all day.
There is a lot of work making sure all of this happens on a daily basis.
Sorry but all applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Having prior experience working with and around dogs is a huge plus, but you must be comfortable working around a large and diverse number of dogs in a pack.
Supervising dogs in all kinds of weather, inside and out is what this job is all about.
Duties include:
supervise dog interactions during group play and swim time, bathing dogs when needed, feeding and cleaning up their runs and sleeping areas, taking pictures while they play, checking dogs in and out and various other duties.
There will be times when you wonder how did you get so lucky to be able to get paid to give and get love all day long.
And there will be other days.
