Our drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and other healthcare-related destinations.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that patients receive the care they need by providing timely, non-emergency transportation services.
Key Responsibilities Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities and their residences in a timely and professional manner.
Assist patients with mobility, including lifting and helping them in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
Maintain communication with the dispatch team and healthcare facilities to manage schedules and accommodate patient needs.
Complete detailed trip reports for each transport, documenting times, mileage, and any incidents or concerns.
Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the transport vehicle is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
Adhere to all traffic and company regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety of patients and the public.
Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must pass a comprehensive background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as required by patient needs.
Physical ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
Previous experience in healthcare transportation or a similar role is preferred but not required.
